Landmark Welcomes Kathy McKie as Director of Human Resources

CHARLESTON, S.C., September 15, 2026: Landmark has named Kathy McKie, MBA, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, Director of Human Resources.

With over 20 years of human resources leadership experience, McKie will lead Landmark’s HR strategy and operations as the company continues to grow its workforce and operations. 

McKie joins Landmark from Santee Cooper, where she most recently served as Senior Manager of Compensation & Benefits. In that role, she provided leadership and strategic direction for compensation, performance management and benefits programs supporting more than 1,500 employees. 

Throughout her career, McKie has held senior HR leadership positions across multiple industries, with experience in employee relations, talent acquisition, workforce planning, compensation and benefits, performance management, leadership development, policy and compliance, and organizational strategy. She has also served on senior leadership teams, partnering with executives and operational leaders to align people strategies with broader business objectives.

As Director of Human Resources, McKie will oversee Landmark’s HR function, including recruiting and workforce planning, employee relations, compensation and benefits, performance management, training and development, and HR policies and programs. She will work closely with Landmark’s leadership and operational teams to strengthen employee development, support organizational effectiveness and ensure HR initiatives remain aligned with the company’s strategic priorities. 

McKie holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Human Resources from Colorado State University and an MBA in Human Resource Management from Columbia Southern University. She also holds the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credentials.
